SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Pittsburg State University softball team jumped out to a 4-3 lead and road that early momentum to a 12-8 victory over Drury University Friday night (Feb. 22).
Kaity Kukowski went 2-for-4 to lead the Gorillas offense with a pair of home runs, while Kala Holder went 2-for-4 with a solo home run.

Halle Brin (3-3) earned the win on three 1/3 innings of relief work. She allowed two earned runs on three hits and collected four strikeouts.

The nightcap was canceled after four innings of play due to rain. 

Pitt State will wrap up weekend action with a doubleheader against University of Missouri St.Louis Sunday (Feb.24).
