PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University softball team will round out its 2022 season with matchups against the University of Central Oklahoma and Newman University starting Saturday (Apr. 30).

The Gorillas were originally scheduled to take on the Bronchos on Friday (Apr. 29) but due to the threat of rain in Pittsburg on Friday the Gorillas have pushed back the schedule to Saturday.

Pitt State and Central Oklahoma will take the field at 1 p.m. on Saturday (Apr. 30) for the Gorillas senior day. The Gorillas and Jets will also take the field at 1 p.m. on Sunday (May 1).

Scouting the Gorillas
- The Gorillas enter the weekend with a 22-25 overall record and a 4-18 MIAA record.
- Pitt State currently sits in 13th in the MIAA.
