PITTSBURG - The Pittsburg State University women's volleyball team began the weekend with a three-set loss to the No. 10 Washburn University Ichabods on Thursday (Oct. 2) at John Lance Arena/Whetzel Court.
Washburn (13-1, 2-1 MIAA) claimed the match with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-19.Â
Anna Dean finished with a Pittsburg State (7-6, 1-2 MIAA), leading six kills.
Jesa Wallace had a team-high 17 assists,
Josie McCroskey finished with 11 digs and
Kennedy Behnke accumulated a team-high three blocks.
Up next for the Gorillas will be the Emporia State University Hornets (12-2, 3-0 MIAA) on Friday (Oct. 3), first serve from John Lance Arena/Whetzel Court is set for 6:00 p.m. (CT).
