INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA released the first set of regional rankings for the 2025 NCAA Division II women's soccer season on Wednesday (Oct. 29). The rankings are a list of 10 schools in each region in an unranked alphabetical order, with Pittsburg State listed in the Central Region for the first time in program history.
The Gorillas (11-2-2) are one of five MIAA schools included in the Central Region, which is comprised of the MIAA, Great American Conference (GAC) and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).Â
Joining Pittsburg State in the initial listing are Augustana (S.D.) (10-2-3, NSIC), Bemidji State (10-2-3, NSIC), Central Missouri (9-3-4, MIAA), Concordia - St. Paul (9-3-3, NSIC), Minnesota State - Mankato (13-0-2, NSIC), Missouri Western (9-2-4, MIAA), Northwest Missouri (10-4-0, MIAA), St. Cloud State (10-1-4, NSIC)Â and Washburn (10-2-3, MIAA).
Starting next week, the NCAA will rank in order the top 10 teams in each region, leading up to the NCAA Division II selection show on Monday (Nov. 17) at 5:30 p.m. (CT).
