EDMOND, Okla. - The Pittsburg State University women's golf team finished the Grace Shin Invite in 17th on Tuesday (Oct. 7) at the Golf Club of Edmond.
Leading the Gorillas was
Genevieve Akers (+11), ranking T-37th out of the 102 individuals competing.
Abby Ervin (+14, T-52nd),
Kymbree Larance (+18, T-66th),
Charlotte Kerbs (+27, T-82nd) and
Katherine Adkins (+34, T-94th) rounded out the competitors for Pittsburg State.
Central Missouri claimed the team title with a +12 finish as Mia Rallo (-6) claimed the individual title.
Up next for the Gorillas will be the Midwest Classic beginning on Monday (Oct. 13) at the Mules National Golf Course in Warrensburg, Mo., with the tournament counting as the first MIAA point event of the season.
