WARRENSBURG, Mo.- The Pittsburg State University women's golf team wrapped up the MIAA Championship on Wednesday (Apr. 22) at the Mules National Golf Course, coming in 11th as a team to conclude the inaugural season of the program.
For the week, Pitt State finished at +138 (+44/+48/+46) to be ahead of Fort Hays State and Newman on the team leader board.
Kymbree Larance led the team with a 34th place finish, followed by
Charlotte Kerbs (42nd),
Abby Ervin (45th),
Kylee Hopper (48th) and
Katherine Adkins (55th).
Larance, finished the MIAA Championship with a +10 showing to complete the tournament at +32. Kerbs, completed the tournament with a +11 showing to be +35 for her best finish of the season. Ervin, on Wednesday finished +12 to be +39 for the week. Hopper, finished +41 for the tournament after completing the third round at +13. Adkins, rounded out the team at +49 with a +21 day three total.
Jessica Parker from Northeastern State claimed the individual title at +12 (+3/+3/+6) as Nebraska - Kearney claimed a two stroke win over Washburn in the team standings at +67 (+26/+23/+18).
