DUNCAN, Okla. - The Pittsburg State University men's golf team wrapped up The Hrnciar Invite in ninth as a team at the conclusion of the two-day tournament hosted at The Terriotry CC on Tuesday (Oct. 7).
Mason White notched his second straight Top-20 finish of the season, finishing 15th (+2) among the 76 individuals competing.
David Hobart (+7, 30th),
Tyler Hardtarfer (+9, T-37th),
Keaton Thissen (+9, T-37th) and
Nick Van Wyngarden (+20, 67th) rounded out the competing team for the Gorillas.Â
The University of Texas Permian Basin claimed the team title with a -15 finish with Nizar Bourehim (-10) claiming the individual title for the Falcons.
Up next for Pittsburg State will be the MSSU Invite beginning on Monday (Oct. 20) at Shangri-La GC in Monkey Island, Okla., with the tournament counting as the second MIAA point event of the fall semester.
