PITTSBURG - The Pittsburg State University women's volleyball team picked up a four set home win over the Fort Hays State University Tigers on Saturday (Nov. 1) at John Lance Arena/Whetzel Court.
Pitt State (11-12, 4-8 MIAA) claimed the match with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-15, 25-17.
Leading the charge for the Gorillas was
Don'Yah Cosie with 15.5 points, finishing with a double-double of 10Â kills and 10 total blocks.
Maliyah Johnson picked up a match-high 15 kills and collected 18.5 points from a further six total blocks.
Kassidy Nixon finished with 10 kills, 17 digs and three total blocks.
Josie McCroskey finished with a match-high 31 digs as
Jesa Wallace (29) and
Abby Carr (15) split setting duties.
Up next for Pittsburg State will be the University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos on Friday (Nov. 7). First serve from the Hamilton Field House is set for 6:00 p.m. (CT).
