Josie McCroskey were named to the MIAA All-Tournament team as announced by the conference office on Monday (Nov. 24) following the completion of the MIAA Tournament in St. Joseph, Mo., at the Civic Arena.
LaPointe finished the tournament with a team-leading 30 kills (3.33 per set) to go with 10 total blocks (1.11), setting a new career-high for the Tulsa, Okla., native with 22 kills in the MIAA Tournament quarterfinal win over No. 16 Missouri Western (Nov. 20) and against No. 7 Washburn in the MIAA semifinals finished with eight kills and seven total blocks.
McCroskey completed her career with the Gorillas with 58 digs (6.44 per set) last weekend. The Springdale, Ark., native finished with 34 digs in the five-set win over No. 16 Missouri Western (Nov. 20) in the MIAA Tournament quarterfinals and 24 digs in the MIAA semifinals against No. 7 Washburn.
