GREENWOOD, Ind. - Four members of the Pittsburg State University volleyball team were named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District on Tuesday (Dec. 16) in
Don'Yah Cosie,
Anna Dean,
Maddi LaPointe and
Josie McCroskey.
Cosie (3.56 GPA, Psychology) ended the season with 216.5 points (2.38) from 142 kills (1.56) and 129 total blocks (1.42). Her block tally ranked 23rd in Division II for total blocks and seventh for blocks per set.

Dean (3.83, Communication) who earned first-team D2CCA All-Region honors after claiming MIAA Blocker of the Year honors, finished the season with 366.5 points (3.45), 251 kills (2.37), 166 total blocks (1.57) and 14 service aces. Among DII ranks this season, she was fourth in blocks per set and fifth for total blocks.Â
LaPointe (3.59, Exercise Science) accumulated 256.5 points (2.42) from 207 kills (1.95) and 96 total blocks (0.91).
McCroskey (3.66, Elementary Education) finished with a team-high 568 digs (5.21) with 101 assists (0.93) and 25 service aces on her way to MIAA honorable mention honors. Ranked 26th in DII for digs per set and 27th for total digs.
