PITTSBURG — The 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championships open Thursday (Mar. 13) at Fall Creek Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds at Indianapolis and continues through Saturday (Mar. 15).
Thursday's action gets under way at 10 a.m. with the start of the men's heptathlon competition. Open events begin at 3 p.m. Thursday, while Friday's action starts with the culimination of the heptathlon at 11:20 a.m. On Saturday, the competition starts with the men's triple jump at Noon and the championships culminate later that evening with the men's 4x400m relay slated as the last event at 5:35 p.m.
Pittsburg State is the two-time defending NCAA Division II Indoor Men's Track & Field National Champion. The Gorillas made a strong push down the stretch at the Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg to claim the program's third NCAA-II Indoor crown in 2024. Pitt State compiled 69 points to win the national championship by 12.5 points over second place Grand Valley State (56.5). Adams State finished third with 55 points.

Pitt State is the No. 1 ranked men's team in the USTFCCCA national poll entering the national championships. Grand Valley State is ranked second, followed by West Texas A&M, Wingate and Colorado Mines.
Adams State is the two-time defending NCAA Division II Indoor Women's Track & Field National Champion. The Grizzlies edged Pittsburg State, 67-64.5, to claim the national championship last year. Minnesota State finished third in the team standings with 54 points.

Daylin Williams enters the national meet ranked No. 1 in his discipline, as does the Gorillas 4x400m relay and Pitt State's distance medley relay.

Williams brings a fast time of 7.65 seconds into the 60-meter hurdles. The 4x400m relay of
Dapriest Hogans,
Woyn Chatman,
Caden Williams and
Nate Watson hold the nation's leading time of 3:07.80, while the DMR of
Dylan Sprecker, Watson,
Jordan Kilonzo and
Mason Strader ran the second-fastest time in Division II history earlier this season (9:35.14).

Hogans is ranked No. 2 in the 200 meters (20.82) and No. 4 in the 60 meters (6.65), while
A.J. Evans ranks third in the 60m (6.64).
Dakari Charlton also qualified 11
th in the 60m (6.68) and 12

nd, 46.39), Chatman (9
th, 46.99) and C. Williams (13
th, 47.08) all qualified in the 400 meters.
