TULSA, Okla. - The Pittsburg State University men's golf team completed the first day of the NSU Classic at Page Belcher GC on Monday (Sept. 15) in third as a team with three individuals in the Top-20.
Over 36-holes of golf today, the Gorillas are -14 (554), currently placed third out of 20 teams at the tournament.
Tyler Hardtarfer and
Nick Van Wyngarden (-4) are tied for 11th to lead the team.
Mason White (-3) is currently tied for 16th with
Keaton Thissen (+2) in a tie for 53rd and
David Hobart (+3) tied for 61st out of 109 individuals.
Central Oklahoma is the day one team leaders at -18 (550), and Martin Hurtado (-10) from Southern Arkansas is the top individual.
Pitt State will finish up the NSU Classic with a final 18-holes beginning tomorrow morning.
