PITTSBURG -- The Pittsburg State University NAIA/Juco Challenge scheduled for Saturday (Jan. 24) has been canceled due to the threat of inclement weather. The indoor track & field meet will not be rescheduled.

The Gorillas will still host the Rumble in the Jungle Division II Invitational scheduled for Friday (Jan. 23) at the Robert W. Plaster Center. Field events will now start at Noon (CST) with action on the track beginning at 2 p.m. Admission is $5. Children 12 & under are free as are PSU students with I.D.

Both the Pitt State men and women captured the 2025 MIAA Indoor Championships; and both squads are preseason favorites to claim the 2025 MIAA Indoor Championship. The Pitt State men are the three-time defending NCAA Division II Indoor National Champions.
