KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Pittsburg State University junior goalkeeper
Jocelyn Kramar was announced as the MIAA Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season on Tuesday (Oct. 6).
Kramar has claimed the weekly honor four times in her career now and is the only keeper this season to be bestowed weekly honors more than once.
This past weekend the Fort Collins, Colo., native helped the then No. 4 ranked Gorillas to a pair of shutouts over Emporia State (0-0, Oct. 2) and Rogers State (5-0, Oct. 4) at home. Among all collegiate levels (NCAA Divisoin I, II, III, NAIA, NJCAA DI, DII and DIII) and gender, Pittsburg State is the only team to not concede a goal this season.
The No. 3 Gorillas are set to play this weekend on the road against Nebraksa - Kearney (Oct. 9) and Fort Hays State (Oct. 11).
