PITTSBURG - The Pittsburg State University men's golf team is set to compete at the MIAA Championship beginning on Monday (Apr. 13) at the Jefferson City Country Club.
On Saturday (Apr. 10) the Gorillas were ranked sixth in the NCAA Division II Central Region Rankings.
Last time out at the Tommy Riggs Collegiate Invitational (Mar. 30-31) out at the Crestwood Country Club, the Gorillas finished in fifth as a team with the four scoring individuals residing in the top 40.
Coming into the MIAA Championship, Pitt State sits in fourth as a team with 25 points after three MIAA point tournaments. Individually,
Mason White (9th, 17.2pts),
Tyler Hardtarfer (13th,13pts),
Keaton Thissen (19th, 8pts) and
Jack Randall (29th, 0.2pts).
