JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Pittsburg State University men's golf team wrapped up the second day of the MIAA Championship hosted at the Jefferson City Country Club on Tuesday (Apr. 14).
As a team the Gorillas were +11 on the day to be +35 for the tournament and sit in a tie for ninth with Missouri Southern. Central Oklahoma as a team went -6 on Tuesday to be -1 over two days and have a 15 stroke lead over Washburn, heading into the final day of action. After 36 holes the individual leader is Baylor Bostick from Central Oklahoma, Bostick for the tournament is -3 with a -5 showing today.
Mason White is the Pitt State top individual heading into the final day of competition at +6, posting a -1 performance on Tuesday to be tied for 18th.
Jack Randall at +10 is in a tie for 33rd after going +7 for the day,
Keaton Thissen, at +11 is in a tie for 39th after going -1 on Tuesday.
Tyler Hardtarfer at +13 for the tournament is in 50th after going +8 on Tuesday and
David Hobart at +15 is tied for 51st after going +6 on the day.
Wednesday (Apr. 15) will be the final day of the MIAA Championship, Pittsburg State will start the day on hole 10 at approximately 9:20 a.m. (CDT) at the Jefferson City Country Club.
