Winn Named NCAA Division II Field Athlete of the Year by USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS -- Pittsburg State University redshirt senior Blakelee Winn was selected the 2026 NCAA Division II National Field Athlete of the Year for women's outdoor track & field by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) today (June 4).

Winn won the long jump and finished runner-up in the heptathlon at the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships to contribute 18 points to Pittsburg State's 63.2-point total as the Gorillas finished as the national runner-up at Emporia, Kan. Earlier in the season, Winn took top individual honors in the long jump at the MIAA Championshionship.

The Pea Ridge, Ark., native wrapped up her elite collegiate career as an eight-time D2 All-America performer. She captured a pair of national crowns - in the pentathlon in 2024 as well as the long jump last month - twice finished as the national runner-up in the heptathlon (2024, 2026) and helped the Gorillas' 4x100m relay to a national runner-up finish in '24 as well.
