NEW ORLEANS -- Pittsburg State University redshirt senior Blakelee Winn was selected the 2026 NCAA Division II Central Region Field Athlete of the Year for women's outdoor track & field by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) today (June 1).

Winn won the long jump and finished runner-up in the heptathlon at the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships to contribute 18 points to Pittsburg State's 63.2-point total as the Gorillas finished as the national runner-up at Emporia, Kan. Earlier in the season, Winn took top individual honors in the long jump at the MIAA Championships.
