Biography

General: First-year player… transferred to Pitt State in January from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College… adjusted well to the Gorillas’ schemes during spring drills… will look to be an impact performer at defensive end this fall.

In Junior College: Spent two seasons at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M… earned honorable mention All-Conference honors as a redshirt freshman for the Norse in 2015.

In High School: The Oklahoma Class 6A District 3 Defensive MVP as a senior at Edmond North High School  in 2012… made 170 tackles as a senior for the Huskies… totaled 414 tackles as a three year starter.

Personal: Born January 23, 1995 … son of Mark and Lea Ann Byford… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.22 GPA as an exercise science major.
