In High School: An All-Sunflower League selection at linebacker as a senior at Shawnee Mission Northwest High in 2011… helped the Cougars to district and regional titles as a junior in 2010.

Personal: Born May 29, 1994… son of Dennis and Mary Vanderpool… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.90 as a construction management major.
