Biography


General: Fourth-year player… a veteran contributor on the offensive line… a part-time starter at guard in 2012… will vie for significant action at the position again this fall.

In 2010-12: Saw action in nine games, including four starts, in 2012… competed in 13 games in a reserve role in 2011… redshirted in his initial season with the Gorillas (2010).

In High School: A first-team Kansas Class 4A All-State selection as a senior at Paola High in 2009… helped the Panthers to a 9-4 record and the 4A state semifinals his senior year… garnered first-team All-League honors in 2009, after earning honorable mention recognition as a junior… a 2010 Kansas Shrine Bowl pick.

Personal: Born August 18, 1992… son of John and Suzy Karigan… a physical education major.
