2012 Biography

General: Third-year player… a promising prospect in the secondary… a hard worker who continues to improve with experience… will provide quality depth to the safety positions this fall.

In 2010-11: Saw limited action for the Gorillas in 2011, after redshirting in his initial year in the Pitt State program (2010).

In High School: An honorable mention Kansas Class 4A All-State performer as a senior at Iola High in 2009… also a two-time All-Southeast Kansas League selection (2008-09).

Personal: Born June 17, 1991… son of Chuck and Linda Heffern… a two-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.90 GPA as a construction engineering technology major.
