General: Third-year player… a promising offensive lineman who has continued to improve with experience… expected to compete for playing time at guard for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2011-12: Saw action in one game in 2012, after redshirting in his first season in the Pitt State program (2011).

In High School: A first-team All-Metro performer at Blue Springs High… a two-time All-Conference selection for the Wildcats… helped BSHS to the Missouri Class 5A state runner-up finish in 2009.

Personal: Born August 29, 1992… son of Debra Phillips… a two-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.26 GPA as a plastics engineering technology major.
