Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: First-year player… transferred to Pitt State in August from Georgia Southern University… a talented cornerback who will look to be an impact performer for the Gorillas this fall.

At GSU: Spent two seasons at BCS member Georgia Southern… started 11 of 13 games in 2015… made 36 tackles (25 solo), two interceptions and 10 pass breakups… redshirted in 2014.

In Junior College: A two-time honorable mention All-Conference performer at Trinity Valley Community College (2012-13)… made 60 tackles in 2013… had 46 tackles and one interceptions in 2012.

In High School: A second-team All-State performer at Belton High School as a senior in 2011… recorded 66 tackles with 7.0 TFLs and three interceptions… made five interceptions as a junior in 2010… returned five INTs for touchdowns during his final two prep seasons.

Personal: Born December 10, 1992… son of Torrell White and Tamera Wheelock… a general studies major.
