Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Second-year player… a talented wide receiver who is primed for a big senior season… a veteran presence… possesses good speed… also a key special teams performer.

In 2015: Started 10 of 11 games… caught 31 passes for a team-leading 503 yards (16.2 ypc) and four touchdowns… also blocked three kicks on special teams… had two catches for 107 yards, including a 99-yard TD grab in the season finale vs. UCO (Nov. 14)… also four receptions for 94 yards vs. FHSU (Sept. 26)… blocked two punts and recovered both loose balls, including one for a 16-yard TD vs. LWU (Sept. 12), earning MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week honors.

At Missouri: Spent three seasons at Mizzou… had two catches for 51 yards as well as a blocked punt vs. Kentucky.

In High School: The Oklahoma Class 6A-3 District Offensive Player of the Year as a senior at Broken Arrow High School in 2011… also recorded nine interceptions on defense and six blocked kicks in special teams his senior season… helped the Tigers to a 22-5 combined record his final two prep seasons (2010-11)… also a Class 6A state champion in both the 110m and 300m intermediate hurdles in track & field.

Personal: Born August 2, 1993… son of Rod and Lisa Copelin… an exercise science major.
