General: Third-year player… made the transition to defensive end from linebacker during spring drills… expected to contend for significant playing time for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2011-12: Saw action in all 10 games in a reserve role in 2012… made 10 tackles (five solo) on the season… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program (2011).

In High School: A first-team Missouri Class 5A All-State performer at Blue Springs High… made more than 100 tackles his senior year, helping BSHS to a 9-3 record… helped the Wildcats to a 12-2 record and the 5A state runner-up finish as a junior in 2009.

Personal: Born April 1, 1992 ... son of Lanny and Joyce Foutz… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.45 GPA as a management major.
