General: Fourth-year player… a talented defensive lineman who is battling back from injuries that cut short his 2012 season… expected to battle for significant action for the Gorillas again this fall.

In 2012: Saw action in six games in a reserve role… tallied five tackles (two solo) with 0.5 tackles-for-loss.

In 2011: Saw action in 10 games in a reserve role… made eight tackles (four solo) with 0.5 quarterback sacks… also recovered a fumble and blocked a kick.

In 2010: Redshirt season.

In High School: An All-Tulsa Metro selection as a senior at Charles Page High in 2009… recorded 35 tackles for the Sandites… a three-year starter at Charles Page… also an All-State power lifter.

Personal: Born July 31, 1991… son of Trent and Sharon Kirven… a mechanical engineering technology major.
