General: Second-year player… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program… a promising prospect… will provide quality depth at center for the Gorillas.

In High School: A Kansas Class 5A All-State performer as a senior at Pittsburg High School in 2014… helped the Purple Dragons to a 9-2 record and an SEK League title… a 2015 Kansas Shrine Bowl selection.

Personal: Born September 25, 1996… son of Bryan and Julie Mahnken… a plastics engineering technology major.
