2012 Biography

General: Second-year player… redshirted in 2010 after transferring to Pitt State from MIAA rival Missouri Southern… a promising athlete who will look to see action at fullback for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2011: Redshirt season.

At MSSU: Played three seasons at Missouri Southern (2008-10)… caught seven passes for 82 yards as a freshman in 2008… caught nine passes for 93 yards in 2009.

In High School: A two-time Missouri Class 4A All-State performer at Carthage High School… also a two-time All-Area and All-District selection… a two-time first-team All-Southwest Conference pick… made 50 receptions for 1,056 yards and 14 touchdowns… logged 72 tackles and 3.0 quarterback sacks on defense.

Personal: Born February 11, 1990… son of Jerry and Mary Poston… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.06 GPA as a biology major.
