2012 Biography

General: Fourth-year player… a promising receiving prospect… continues to improve with experience after moving from the quarterback position… will look to battle for playing time for the Gorillas again this fall.

In 2009-11: Saw limited action the past two years after redshirting in his initial season in the Pitt State program in 2009.

In High School: A two-time Missouri Class 4A All-State performer at both quarterback and defensive back at Carthage High School (2007-08)… a first-team All-State selection as a defensive back in 2007-08… a second-team All-State pick at QB in 2007 and a third-team All-State honoree at QB in 2006… compiled more than 2,000 total yards in each of his final two prep years… amassed more than 6,000 career total yards… helped the Tigers to a pair of district titles… an honor roll student.

Personal: Born June 5, 1990… son of Dean and Rhonda Derryberry… a three-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... has a 3.16 GPA as a history/government major.
