AUSTIN, Texas - Two members of the Pittsburg State University women's track & field squad garnered College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America accolades today (July 15).

Redshirt senior pole vaulter Isabelle Peters and redshirt senior multi event athlete Blakelee Winn both were selected to the first-team Academic All-America squad.

Peters becomes a two-time Academic All-America selection after earning third-team recognition in 2025. The Lindsborg, Kan., native captured the NCAA Division II indoor national championship in the pole vault. A six-time All-America performer in the disciplin, Peters was a finalist for the 2025-26 MIAA B Ken Jones Award. She completed her master's degree in educational leadership in May with a perfect 4.00 GPA. Peters posted a 3.87 GPA in securing her bachelor's degree from PSU.

Winn finishes her decorated Pitt State career as a three-time Academic All-America honoree. The Pea Ridge, Ark., native is a finalist for the Division II Honda Athlete of the Year award for track & field. She secured All-America honors on 12 occasions in her Pitt State career, including capturing national championships in the heptathlon in 2025 and the long jump in 2026. She also received the DII National Outdoor Women's Field Athlete of the Year honor from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in May.
Winn completed her master's degree in health, human performance and recreation with a perfect 4.00 GPA and she posted a 3.74 GPA earning a bachelor's degree in exercise science.
