NEW YORK -- Pittsburg State University outgoing senior Blakelee Winn placed eighth overall in the women's heptathlon at the 2026 USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships Friday (July 24).

The elite NCAA Division II multi event star compiled 5,724 points across the seven disciplines of the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200 meters, long jump, javelin and 800 meters Thursday and Friday at Ichan Stadium.

Winn (Pea Ridge, Ark.) exited day one action Thursday with 3,496 points on the strength of a third-place showing the shot put and a sixth-place finish in the 200 meters (24.25). She logged a personal-best throw of 45 feet, 10.5 inches in the shot put. In Friday's action, Winn logged the top performance in the field in the javelin with toss of 145-4.

Winn, a finalist for the 2026 Honda Division II Female Student-Athlete of the Year, finished her illustrious collegiate career as a 12-time All-America honoree. She captured the D2 national championship in the heptathlon in 2025 and finished as the national runner-up in the multi events in 2026.

Pitt State outgoing senior Jack Haukap also placed 14th overall in the men's hammer throw Thursday at the USATF Championships. A two-time NCAA-II All-America performer, Haukap (Garden Plain, Kan.) recorded a best mark of 195-11 in the competition.
