General: Third-year player … a promising prospect as an interior lineman for the Gorillas … a hard worker who continues to improve with experience … will provide quality depth at the position for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2009-10: Saw limited action in 2010 after redshirting his initial season for the Gorillas (2009).

In High School: A first-team Missouri Class 3A All-State performer as a defensive lineman as a senior at St. Francis Borgia High School in 2008 … recorded 90 tackles (72 solo) with 12.0 QB sacks during his senior season … a two-time All-State selection, earning second-team honors as a junior in 2007 … helped the Knights to a 10-3 record and an appearance in the 3A state semifinals that year … also the All-Area Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2008.

Personal: Born February 19, 1991 … son of Rick and Sherry Wahle … a construction management major.
