General: Third-year player … a promising kicking prospect … continues to improve with experience … expected to contend for action for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2010: Appeared in two games … converted his only PAT try of the season … also averaged 51.8 yards on four kickoffs.

In 2009: Redshirt season.

At Hastings: Spent two seasons at NAIA member Hastings College.

In High School: A Missouri Class 5A All-State selection in soccer and football as a senior at Blue Springs High … lettered both years he participated in football and four years in soccer... was an All-District, All-Area, and All-Midwest selection in soccer as well his senior year.

Personal: Born March 6, 1989 … son of Wayne and Shery McCoy … a chemistry major.
