In High School: A first-team All-Oklahoma Class 5A All-District III selection as a senior in 2009 … helped Booker T. Washington to a 13-1 record and the 5A state championship as a junior in 2008 … a 2010 Jim Thorpe All-Star selection … also a stand-out prep track & field athlete.

Personal: Born September 19, 1991 … son of Gwen Mitchell … a physical education major.
