In High School: A two-time first-team All-State selection at Cozad High School (2005-06) … the Nebraska Class B Offensive Player of the Year in 2006 … also named to the second-team Nebraska Super State squad that year … became the first 11-man player in Nebraska state history to post consecutive 2,000-yard rushing seasons … rushed 278 times for 2,103 yards and 21 TDs in 2006 … carried the ball 242 times for 2,015 yards and 23 TDs in 2005 … compiled 4,702 career rushing yards.
Personal: Born August 16, 1988 … son of Rick and Anngie Love … a second-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VII selection in 2009 … also a three-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll … has a 3.68 GPA as a construction engineering technology major.
