General:  First-year player … transferred to Pitt State in January from Highland Community College … a promising prospect at cornerback for the Gorillas … In Junior College:  Spent three seasons at Highland CC … made 28 tackles and one interception he returned for a TD as a sophomore in 2010 … In High School:  A two-time All-Tri-Valley League performer at Neodesha High (2006-07) … registered six INTs as a junior in 2006 helping the Bluestreaks to a 7-3 record … also a stand-out track & field athlete … Personal:  Born January 8, 1990 … son of Buddy Adkins and Neely Holland … a recreation major.
