In High School: A second-team Iowa Class 3A All-State selection at linebacker as a senior at Carlisle High School in 2005 … also a first-team All-District performer that year … recorded 115 tackles and two interceptions and rushed for 1,189 yards (132.1 ypg) for the Wildcats his senior year.
