General: Third-year player ... a versatile and talented quarterback who is primed for a big senior season … a 2011 PSU team captain … exited spring drills as the Gorillas’ No. 1 quarterback, after starting nine games for Pitt State in 2009.
In 2010: Saw action in all 12 games with nine starts under center for the Gorillas… also started one game at wide receiver for Pitt State … completed 91 of 188 passes for 992 yards and six touchdowns… rushed the ball 144 times for 901 yards and an additional seven scores… passed for a season high 196 yards and two touchdowns against Central Missouri (Sept. 18)… rushed for a season high of 138 yards on 24 carries in the Fall Classic vs. NW Missouri State (Nov. 13).
In 2009: Saw action in all 11 games for the Gorillas at wide receiver … made 12 receptions for 131 yards (10.9 yards/reception) and one touchdown … caught a 27-yard TD pass in Pitt State's 41-13 win over No. 7 Chadron State (Sept. 5).
In Junior College: Spent one season at Fort Scott CC (2008), after redshirting at NCAA BCS member Oklahoma State the previous year (2007) … a third-team All-Jayhawk Conference performer for the Greyhounds ... completed 85 of 173 passes (.491) for 937 yards and 10 TDs ... also rushed the ball 88 times for 283 yards and four scores … helped FSCC to a Heart of Texas Bowl victory over Blinn College.
In High School: A first-team Kansas Class 2A All-State selection at quarterback as a senior at St. Mary's-Colgan High School in 2006 ... also an All-State prep athlete in baseball and basketball for the Panthers ... helped SMC to a state basketball title in 2006, as well as three straight baseball titles between 2004-06.
Personal: Born February 24, 1989 ... son of Michael and Audrey Dickey ... a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll in 2009 ... earned NJCAA All-Academic honors at FSCC in 2008 ... an international studies major.
