General: Third-year player… one of the premier players in the MIAA… returning from an injury shortened junior campaign… healthy and ready to contend for All-MIAA honors and beyond this fall.
In 2018: Started six games before suffering a season ending injury… made seven tackles (five solo) with 1.0 tackle-for-loss, 1.0 quarterback sacks, two interceptions and four pass break-ups… earned third-team All-MIAA honors despite missing the last five games of the season… also returned 10 punts for a 15.5-yard average, including a 59-yard TD return in his Pitt State debut vs. UCO (Aug. 30)… caught seven passes for 84 yards (12.0 ypc) and two scores.
In 2017: Redshirt season.
At Minnesota: Spent two seasons at the University of Minnesota… started seven of eight games played as a sophomore for the Gophers in 2016… made 39 tackles, two interceptions and six pass break-ups… led the team with 10 tackles and recovered a fumble vs. Wisconsin… played in all 13 games as a freshman in 2015… made 13 tackles with 1.0 TFL and one pass break-up… compiled 328 all-purpose yards and a kick returner.
In High School: A first-team Missouri Class 4A All-State performer as a senior at Webb City High School in 2014… made 32 tackles and one interception his senior season… also caught 32 passes for 684 yards and eight touchdowns… compiled 1,224 all-purpose yards… helped the Cardinals to an unblemished 15-0 record and the program’s fifth consecutive Class 4A state title in 2014… finished his prep career with 56 catches for 1,142 yards and 19 touchdowns… also a multiple-time All-State track athlete… captured the Class 4A state title in the 100 meters in 2015.
