Pittsburg State University Athletics

General: Second-year player… a talented defensive lineman who will look to be an impact performer for the Gorillas again this fall… transferred to Pitt State in 2019 from the University of Northern Iowa.

In 2019: Saw action in all 11 games in a reserve role… made 22 tackles (10 solo) including 2.5 tackles-for-loss and 2.5 quarterback sacks… made a season best six tackles vs. LU (Oct. 5)… posted three tackles and a QB sack vs. NSU (Sept. 21).

At UNI: Spent three seasons at Northern Iowa… saw action in two games as a true freshman in 2016… appeared in five games in 2017… did not see any action for the Panthers in 2018.

In High School: A Missouri Class 6A All-State performer as a senior at Lee's Summit West High School in 2015… posted 88 tackles, 15.5 tackles-for-loss, 6.5 quarterback sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries his senior season… helped the Titans to the Missouri Class 5A state title in 2013.

Personal: Born October 2, 1997… son of Kline and Annabelle Minniefield… a marketing major.
