Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Second-year player… a returning All-MIAA performer who is primed for a big senior season… a talented defensive end who is expected to be an impact performer for the Gorillas again this fall.

In 2018: Started all 11 games… made 34 tackles (18 solo) with 9.5 tackles-for-loss and 7.5 quarterback sacks… also forced three fumbles on the season… earned third-team All-MIAA honors… ranked second in the MIAA in QB sacks… logged 2.5 TFLs and 2.0 QB sacks in back-to-back weeks vs. NSU (Sept. 15) and UNK (Sept. 22).

In Junior College: Spent two seasons at Butler Community College…  made 19 tackles (11 solo) with 2.5 quarterback sacks and 3.5 TFLs as a sophomore in 2017 for the Grizzlies… compiled 28 tackles (16 solo) with 4.0 quarterback sacks and 7.0 TFLs as a freshman in 2016.

In High School: A first-team Kansas Class 5A All-State performer as a senior at Mill Valley High School in 2015… also a first-team All-Conference selection… made 98 tackles with 27.0 TFLs and 11.5 quarterback sacks while helping the Jaguars to the Class 5A state title his senior season.

Personal: Born December 11, 1997… son of Don and Audrey Morris… a construction management major.
