Biography

General: Second-year player… a promising long snapping prospect who redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program (2018)… will look to battle to handle the long snapping chores for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2018: Redshirt season.

In Junior College: Spent two years at Jefferson College, playing baseball for the Vikings in 2014-15.

In High School: A second-team Missouri Class 6A All-State selection as a senior at Liberty High School in 2013… also an All-District and All-Conference honoree.

Personal: Born February 14, 1996… son of Brad and Cheryl Newland… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.56 GPA as a general studies major.
