Biography

General: Sixth-year player… a hard-working running back who is primed for a breakthrough senior season this fall.

In 2015-18: Saw action in three games in 2018 before suffering a season-ending injury… saw action in 10 games in a reserve role in 2017… carried the ball three times for 10 yards on the season… saw action in two games in a reserve role for the Gorillas in 2016… did not see any action on the field in 2015.

In 2014: Redshirt season.

In High School: A second-team Missouri Class 6A All-State selection at running back as a senior at Lee’s Summit West High School in 2013… carried the ball 122 times for 1,222 yards and 20 touchdowns… helped the Titans to a 13-1 record and the Class 6A state title… also a national caliber AAU decathlete.

Personal: Born July 8, 1996… son of Darron, Sr., and Michelle Edwards… a five-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.70 GPA as a management major.
