Biography

General: Fifth-year player… made the move from defensive line to tight end during spring drills… enjoyed a smooth transition… will battle for action at the position for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2018: Saw action in all 11 games, including two starts, in 2018… caught two passes for eight yards, including a four-yard TD grab vs. ESU (Sept. 6)… saw action in eight games in 2017… caught one pass for 17 yards on the season.

In 2015-18: Saw action in one game in a reserve role in 2017… did not see any action on the field in 2016, after redshirting in his initial season in the Pitt State program (2015).

In High School:  A second-team Missouri Class 6A All-State performer as a senior at Timberland High School in 2014… also a first-team All-Conference and first-team All-District pick.

Personal: Born July 8, 1997… son of Richard and Treacy Williams… an environmental & safety management major.
