Biography

General: Fifth-year player… a hard working tight end who has evolved into a frontline player for the Gorillas… will look to battle for significant action again this fall.

In 2018-19: Started five of 11 games played in 2019… caught three passes for 91 yards (30.3 ypc) and one touchdown on the season… scored his first collegiate TD vs. NSU (Sept. 21)… saw action in all 11 games in 2018.

In 2016-17: Did not see any action on the field in 2017 after redshirting in his initial season in the program (2016).

In High School: A three-time All-Eastern Kansas League selection at Blue Valley Southwest High School (2013-15)… earned second-team All-EKL honors his final two prep seasons after garnering honorable mention recognition as a sophomore in 2013.

Personal: Born October 21, 1997 … son of Mike and Susie Meyer… a three-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… graduated from PSU with a 3.84 GPA in automotive technology… currently pursuing a master's of business administration (MBA) degree.
