Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Third-year player… a hard working linebacker who continues to improve with experience… will look to battle for more significant action for the Gorillas this fall… transferred to Pitt State from Missouri University of Science & Technology.

In 2018-19: Saw action in two games in a reserve role in 2019, after redshirting in his initial season in the Pitt State program (2018).

At MST: Spent two seasons at Missouri S&T (2016-17)… saw action in two games in a reserve role for the Miners in 2017 after redshirting in his initial season at MST (2016).

In High School: A first-team All-District performer as a senior at Webb City High School in 2015… also an All-Conference selection for the Cardinals… helped WCHS to consecutive Missouri Class 4A state titles in 2013-14… a two-time Academic All-State honoree.

Personal: Born September 15, 1997… son of Stephen and Sheila Cook… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.53 GPA as a plastics engineering technology major.
