Biography

General: Fifth-year player… a returning All-America performer who is primed for a big senior season… a two-year starter at tackle… also a two-year team captain (2017-18). 

In 2018: Started all 11 games at right tackle for the Gorillas… earned first-team All-MIAA and honorable mention All-America honors.

In 2017: Started all 12 games at right tackle for the Gorillas.

In 2015-16: Started 10 of 11 games at right tackle for the Gorillas in 2016… garnered honorable mention All-MIAA honors… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program (2015).

In High School: A two-time All-Conference performer at Lee’s Summit High School (2013-14)… also an All-District selection as a senior for the Tigers… a three-year starter.

Personal: Born July 24, 1996… son of Joseph and Julie Dodd… a Google Cloud Academic All-America selection in 2018… a four-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and a two-year MIAA Scholar Athlete (2016, 2018)… graduated in December 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing… has a perfect 4.00 GPA pursuing a master’s of business administration (MBA) degree.
