Biography

General: Third-year player… a returning All-MIAA performer… a talented running back who is primed for a big season for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2021: Saw action in all 11 games… carried the ball 123 times for 522 yards (4.2 ypc) and three touchdowns on the season… also caught 14 passes out of the backfield for 106 yards (7.6 ypc)… rushed the ball 10 times for a season high 82 yards vs. LU (Oct. 16)… scored a pair of TDs against NSU (Sept. 18)… earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors.

In 2020: Saw action in one game in the Covid-19 shortened season… carried the ball four times for 14 yards on the season.

In High School: A first-team Texas Class 5A All-District selection as a senior at Burleson High School in 2019… a three-year starter for the Elks.

Personal: Born November 21, 2001… son of Gregory and Tanika Lewis… a physical education major.
