Biography

General: Second-year player… redshirted in his first season in the Pitt State program (2021) after transferring from MIAA rival Northeastern State University… an All-MIAA performer who will look to be an impact performer at cornerback for the Gorillas this fall.

At NSU: Spent four seasons at NSU… an All-MIAA performer for the RiverHawks in 2019… compiled 100 career tackles and 18 pass breakups at NSU.

In High School: A Texas Class 5A All-District performer at Lancaster High School… helped the Tigers to consecutive playoff appearances as well as a district championship.

Personal: Born April 8, 1999… son of Torey Nichols and Quolanda Burleson… a criminal justice major.
